This is an exclusive performance which means that only invited guests can attend. We don´t know just yet if it is impossible to get in there, but we´ll let you know if we get any special information concerning this. And some more good news is that the TAT team is planning for the releaseparty of "Consume Desire" in January. The plan is that everyone can come, but again we´ll let you know more about this soon! 011121: Win exclusive albums This is a reminder of the running competition on this site. The album "Consume Desire" will be released the 14th of January, but you could be one of a very few that wins a copy you will have in your hands before christmas. The album has been postponed on and off for almost a year. It was originally set for a release in March 2001, but due to internal changes it has been postponed three times. He's been a friend of the band for years and was a natural choice as the new baseman in The April Tears. Mattias has also been a part of the band Paris for sometime. He has not been taking part in The April Tears for sometime now. Christian has instead decided to join another band (Yvonne). The bass player was a part of April Tears 1995-2001. Finally, everyone involved can now concentrate on the music and the promotion of it instead of awaiting negotiations to become closed deals. "Hardcoming" -the new single is available for promotional use from today. It was one of the songs performed when The April tears performed In Gallerian, Stockholm at Stim´s festival of breaking musical boundaries. The releasedate of the single is set to the 22nd of October. Alla dessa har varit planerade men har av olika orsaker skjutits upp. Vi vill bara klargöra vissa saker, eftersom vi vet att många surar och undrar över detta. Det är inte vi i bandet som skjuter upp datumen, plattan är färdiginspelad & klar sedan årsskiftet. Under våren & sommaren har vi ändrat skivbolag i Sverige från engelska Telstar till svenska Edel. Vi har haft Edel som distributör hela vägen men det är ändå mycket papper och byråkrati, advokater och förhandlingar, semestrar osv...så detta har inneburit förseningar. Vi i bandet vill verkligen inte bli försenade, hoppas alla förstår det. Det är oerhört frustrerande för oss, såklart. Just nu jobbar vi med artwork och idéer kring albumet och detta kommer antagligen försena datumen något -återigen. Vi räknar med en release i början av oktober, med singel i mitten av september. Alltså en försening på mellan 2-4 veckor. Genom att förklara detta hoppas vi på förståelse och uppmuntran. Om vi fick bestämma helt och hållet själva skulle vi släppa minst ett album om året.
