Från www.fs-jonkoping.com/mtm The April Tears - Seventeen EP After a few days now with this EP from April Tears in my stereo, I can easily say that this belongs to the hope of swedish pop music. Introducing and main track "Seventeen" is an up tempo (not to fast though) song with sounds from both the synth pop world as well as the rock pop inferno. I hear a strong connection between April Tears and for instance Depeche Mode, but also Garbage of course. Usually this isn´t really my cup of tea, but even though this I find April Tears to be among the best pop music I´ve ever heard. The vocals from Sara Gunnarsson are excellent and very much suitable for the music. She mourns with a smile on her face, to put it right.
