A new single from one of the few bands once awarded with the highest of grades in Release, a ten out of ten, for their debut album "Strange Paradise". After years of delays, their new material draws more towards the electronic and the dark. The commercially built "Model, Actress, Whatever" will hopefully turn The April Tears into a household name with its mixture of rock and electronic elements. The incredible extra song "Spider" is the best track I've ever heard them perform. The beautiful guitar play over a layer of stale electronics combined with Sara Gunnarsson's brittle vocals send shivers of pleasure down my spine.
